The Voice: Applications now open for Screen Ireland’s Director Conceptual Development Fund
Posted: 18th September 2025
Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland is delighted to open applications for the 2025 iteration of The Voice - a conceptual development fund for experienced directors to develop high-value projects for film, TV and documentary in the Irish or English language.
The Voice will be a two-year scheme and aims to generate exceptional screen work with the early creative leadership of a Director(s) and refined development before bringing it to a producer/financier. At the end of this process, Directors will have created a proof of concept for a feature film or television project (live action, animation or documentary) ready to take to a production company or to the market directly.
Screen Ireland encourages ambitious, audacious and dynamic perspectives from applicants. There is no limitation on the genre, narrative style, content or other elements of the project. We are looking for distinctive creative voices and exciting, bold stories that will transcend and engage audiences in Ireland and worldwide.
