The registrations for some Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland events are handled through the event management software RSVPify. RSVPify complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The website’s general Privacy Policy is outlined here, while more specific information for UK and EEA users can be found here. Additional definitions and outlines of specific retention periods can be found below:

  1.  "Aggregated Information" refers to information that has been combined from multiple sources or individuals such that it no longer contains any personally identifiable information. The data is aggregated and anonymized so that it cannot be traced back to specific people. For example, RSVPify might look at the number of annual registrations in a specific region or for a specific event type for business analysis reasons, but this data is anonymized, and not traceable back to any individual.
  2. The retention period - or the period during which RSVPify stores data in live databases or backup media - can vary by the type of data stored. Deleted data such as guests, events, emails, etc. may be retained on live production databases for up to 30 days after deletion, and on backup media for up to 60 days after deletion. Guest data following Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland events will be removed from RSVPify within 60 days. If you have previously been invited to a Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland event and wish for your data to be deleted prior to this period of time, please contact rsvp@screenireland.ie.
  3. Secondary retention refers to retention of server logs which may contain IP addresses and specific actions or requests made from a given internet-connected device accessing RSVPify. Such logs may be retained for up to a year in most cases.
