FÍs Éireann / Screen Ireland and CPC Creative Services Ltd are delighted to announce the TV Unscripted Producer Programme 2025, a key skills development initiative supporting participants to work at a senior level within the TV Unscripted sector. Developed by leading executive producer and industry skills trainer Colin Pauser-Cowman in association with Screen Ireland this programme will provide participant with access to best practice techniques and top industry professionals.
Leading industry speakers across the programme include Amanda Wilson (Leading Formats Specialist -Former Creative Director BBC Studios) Larry Bass, CEO Shinawil (Dancing with the Stars, The Voice of Ireland, The Apprentice, Dragons Den, Masterchef Ireland); Linda Cullen, CEO CoCo Content (Room to Improve, First Dates Ireland); Teresa Smith (Commissioner for Factual entertainment, RTÉ), Sinéad Stimpfig (Head of Commissioning VMTV) and many more.
The programme is designed to address vital skills training for producers working in a rapidly evolving unscripted TV sector. Built to empower emerging and established producers of unscripted TV content with job-ready skills from development, through pitching, funding, execution to delivery. The programme has been developed in deep collaboration with the sector and is dedicated to empowering producers with the key competencies required to successfully steward unscripted projects from concept to air at a senior level.
This TV Unscripted Producer Programme is relevant to all production professionals with a passion for factual, fact-ent, entertainment, specialist factual and unscripted genres.

Colin Pauser-Cowman is a seasoned industry leader with 30+ years’ experience across TV, media and the creative sectors. A former commissioner, executive producer, and senior project manager, he’s delivered hundreds of hours of hit programming for Ireland’s top broadcasters and steered countless projects to funding success at home and abroad. As a strategic consultant, Colin advises independent producers on creative development, funding, and innovation. He led Paradise Pictures for 13 years, producing standout content for RTÉ, TV3 (VMTV), global channels, and major Irish brands. A passionate educator, Colin has spent over a decade designing and delivering high-impact training through IADT, Griffith College, MTU, Screen Ireland and Skillnets — empowering the next wave of creative talent.

Edit Producing has joined Development Producer and Series Producer roles as a vital discipline in the senior producer landscape, with healthy employment across the year increasingly dependent on a producer’s competency in leading edit processes. This course, focuses on best-practice methods, writing to picture and working with a creative post production team, based in a professional edit facility.

From the first module, learners will develop their own TV concepts (either individually or in group project groups). The modules are designed chronologically in order for learners to apply deep insights and trusted technique to their own concepts through all key stages of senior producing from concept, through development, pitching, execution, post production to delivery.
The course fee of €450 includes access to all six modules of the TV Unscripted Producer Programme 2025.
The TV Unscripted Producers Programme 2025 delivers best-practice techniques, access to leading industry players and important upskilling, with the aim for learners to enhance producer confidence and progression in the sector. Places are limited so early registration is recommended. This programme is applicable to at all unscripted producer levels from junior through to more senior, and to those working in related roles such as casting, research, coordinator, production manager etc. The programme will also appeal to those returning to the sector, or wishing to diversify from other genres or related content sectors such as radio, digital or brand content, scripted etc.
