Leading Formats Specialist/Former Creative Director, BBC Studios

Amanda has over 20 years’ experience working in entertainment and factual entertainment production and generating new IP for the UK and global market. She created The Chase and Four Weddings for ITV, Raised by the Village for RTE1 and most recently The Answer Run, BBC daytime’s best quiz launch in a decade.

Amanda worked as Creative Director, Development for Entertainment & Music at BBC Studios where she devised and pitched formats to all major broadcasters and streamers, both in the UK and internationally - including to US, Japan, France, Germany and Ireland.

Recent commissions include Alison Hammond’s Big Weekend for BBC1, Breaking Point - a gameshow for Germany, Koso Koso- an award-winning prank show for Nippon TV in Japan and Pete Wicks for Dogs Sake for UKTV -the top performing title on all UKTV channels for the last three years.

Amanda ran her own UK indie, was Creative Head of Entertainment Development at ITV Studios and she also headed up the original BBC development team who created and formatted Strictly Come Dancing.
