Matt Delargy

Matt is under commission to the BBC for two original series ideas, which he is currently writing the pilots episodes for. He has also created a major new music series for Warner Music. Matt wrote an episode of the Amazon show Ripper Street and co-wrote the hit Channel 4 drama Close To Me. He has written scripts for Studio Canal, The Beano, and others.

As a Creative Exec at Ecosse Films, Matt conceived, developed and oversaw numerous films, including Andrea Arnold’s Wuthering Heights, the acclaimed Nowhere Boy, and the cult horror Black Death. He previously worked in developed for Film4 and was a script reader for numerous companies and broadcasters.

Matt is a Senior Tutor at the National Film & Television School, where he teaches Creative Producing to students from around the world on a range of postgraduate courses. He is a graduate of the NFTS and the University of Glasgow.
