How to Apply
Applications should be made online by registering with the Screen Ireland Online Application System. Should you encounter any issues, please refer to the Technical FAQs.
The online system will close at 1pm on the day of the deadline. We strongly recommend that applicants allow ample time to prepare, upload and submit an application as incomplete applications will not be accepted once the deadline has passed. If you wish to make an application for funding by post, contact 091 561 398 for the relevant application form.
Making An Application
Applicants should ensure they have consulted the following prior to making an application:
Development Funding Guidelines
Production Funding Guidelines (including the Enhanced Production Funding for Female Talent Guidance Note)
Distribution Funding Guidelines
To help ensure the smoothest application process possible, Screen Ireland has compiled a short guide of areas to consider before you submit your application.
Funding Procedure Appeals
If you are dissatisfied with the way in which your application was processed, you should write to the Chief Executive of Screen Ireland. The letter should set out clearly the grounds for complaint, giving as much detail as possible. Please note that complaints may be made only on grounds of procedure, not of creative judgment. Procedural complaints will be taken very seriously and investigated fully by the Chief Executive.
