Gillian began working at NBCUniversal in the media law group over 25 years ago, working with the news division and on intellectual property related matter. She was part of the intellectual property group, worked on television production and programming as well as music licensing, among other things. Until 2023, she was part of NBCUniversal's Ad Sales and Marketing legal group and the head of a legal team supporting the entertainment marketing groups across NBCUniversal's entertainment properties, including Universal Pictures, Dreamworks, Focus Features, and the NBC, Bravo and USA television networks, among others. She left NBCUniversal in 2023 and is now working freelance.
