As a TV producer and showrunner, Nuno Bernardo created and produced Sofia's Diary for Channel 5 UK, Beat Generation, Flatmates, the Kidscreen Award-winner Aisling's Diary for RTÉ, and the Emmy-nominated TV series Final Punishment, Beat Girl (Hulu), and Collider. In North America, Nuno Bernardo was the executive producer of two HBO Canada TV Shows: Living in Your Car and The Line, featuring Linda Hamilton and Ed Asner.
As a director, Nuno Bernardo helmed and wrote the TV3 documentary The Standups, Gamer Mode for RTÉ2, the Portuguese drama series Amnesia, and The Players for RTP Portugal (the world's first scripted TV Series about eSports). Recently, Nuno directed Gabriel, a feature film set in the world of professional boxing. The movie was selected for the Locarno Film Festival in 2018 and was released in Europe and North America in 2019.
