Allie O'Rourke
Allie O'Rourke is a transgender screenwriter, stand up comedian, film maker, producer, actress and theatre maker from Athlone, Ireland. She had gigged across Ireland, the UK and the USA, peddling her unique brand of girl dick energy. Allie has performed at festivals such as the Cat Laughs Comedy Festival, Paddy Power Comedy Festival, Electric Picnic and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This year Allie produced, co-wrote and starred in two productions, Failed by Design and Platforms, at the Dublin Fringe Festival. She co-wrote and starred in Punchline which won the Virgin Media Discovers Award and premiered at the Dublin International Film Festival. Punchline has since won a further 12 awards and garnered over 40 laurels. Her project Waterhorses and Their Kin was selected to be part of the X-Pollinator Elevator program.
Allie's acting credits include Punchline, Masks, Stonewall and Hi, My name is. Her greatest acting achievement to date has been playing the role of man for 26 years.
Matthew Tallon
Matthew Tallon is a writer, comedian and filmmaker from Dublin, Ireland, currently based in New York City. Starting off as a stand-up comic, he has established himself all over the world, performing at the Vodafone Comedy Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and New York Comedy Club and being nominated as Hot Press Comedian of the Year. In 2021, Matthew expanded his practice into film and theatre, writing and directing "Fetish 101", a multimedia online sketch series that explores the often-stigmatized culture of kink through a comedic, celebratory lens. "Fetish 101" debuted at the Dublin Fringe Festival. His comedy sketches and mockumentaries have received over 250,000 views online.
As a writer, Matthew has written op-eds for Hot Press Magazine and published a collection of his own short essays and fiction, 'Tired Marsupial'.
