As part of our artistic leadership role in film and screen content, it is vitally important that Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland represents a contemporary Ireland with all of its uniqueness, originality of voice and cultural diversity. In doing so, we want to provide a breadth of storytelling and serve a wide range of audiences. We are committed to addressing the issue of gender inequality in Irish filmmaking and screen content, in particular the roles of writers and directors.
