Film Distribution in Ireland

Film Distribution in Ireland

An Irish distributor distributes your film locally in Ireland and plays an important role in ensuring a successful release for your film to the home market. We have put together a list of the Irish distributors working in Ireland.

Irish Distributors

An Irish distributor will distribute your film locally in Ireland. Many films will sell well internationally and become international hits, but a local distributor will always remain an important asset for ensuring a successful release in Ireland, to your home market.

Film distributors bring the magic of the movies to audiences. Working closely with filmmakers, cinemas and media to put their movies on the radar of film fans, they’re a vital cog in finding the greatest possible audience for storytellers. As well as planning a release schedule with filmmakers and cinemas, they create a bespoke and unique media and marketing campaign for the release of the film.

Ireland has several highly established film distribution companies skilled and experienced at bringing movies to filmgoers.
