Prof. Paul Rouse

Prof. Paul Rouse is co-founder of InQuest Research Group and is a lecturer in the University College Dublin School of History, where he teaches on a range of areas, including on the modern history of Britain and Ireland after 1800. He is the author of a number of books and academic articles, including Ireland’s Own Soil: Government and Agriculture in Ireland (2001), The GAA: A People’s History (2009) and Sport and Ireland: A History (2015). He is a former winner of the Journalist of the Year award with the Prime Time Investigates team in RTÉ.  He is currently a Director of the Century Ireland project and a regular media contributor.
